What you’ll do
- Run trademark clearance for new model, product, and feature names, delivering clear, risk-rated recommendations that let teams move quickly and confidently
- Manage global trademark prosecution and portfolio strategy in coordination with outside counsel, including filing strategy, office actions, and portfolio maintenance across many jurisdictions
- Lead trademark and domain enforcement end to end: assess potential infringements, select the right enforcement mechanism, work with outside counsel as necessary, and drive matters to resolution
- Help oversee our online brand protection program, working with our external vendor and IP Legal Specialist to action infringements and impersonations at scale
- Manage domain portfolio strategy, including acquisitions, disputes, and recovery
- Respond to inbound trademark demands and support trademark-related litigation
- Counsel marketing, product, and go-to-market teams on brand usage and naming, translating IP risk into practical guidance
- Build the playbooks and processes that let a lean team run a world-class global brand protection practice
What they’re looking for

- Hold a JD from an accredited law school and are an active member of at least one U.S. state bar
- Have substantial trademark and domain practice experience spanning clearance, prosecution, portfolio management, and enforcement
- Have current, hands-on experience: running clearances, shape filing strategies, and make enforcement calls yourself
- Have managed global trademark and domain portfolios, including UDRP proceedings and online enforcement
- Exercise sound judgment about which matters to pursue, and can explain that reasoning clearly to lawyers and non-lawyers alike
- Work collaboratively with legal colleagues, outside counsel, and business partners, and are motivated by the work itself
- A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience

- 10+ years of trademark and domain practice
- Prior in-house experience at a technology company, with a track record of partnering with business teams to enable speed in a risk-adjusted way
- Experience protecting brands in AI or other rapidly evolving technology fields
- Experience building or scaling high-volume enforcement and takedown programs
- Experience navigating brand disputes with commercial, community, or publicity dimensions

- For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.

- Annual Salary: $335,000—$385,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.
