Account Deletion
Last updated: 22 October 2026 ยท Version: 2026-10-22
You can ask us to delete your Aptiora account and your personal data at any time. This page explains how, what we delete, what we must keep and how long it takes. Aptiora is operated by Notes For Innovation LLC (Georgia).
1. Before you delete
- Export your data if you want to keep it. You can download your documents in Aptiora, or ask us for a copy of all your data at the address below.
- Cancel any paid subscription first, using the billing link in your account or your Paddle receipt. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription with Paddle automatically.
- Deletion is permanent. Unused credits, including purchased credit packs, are lost and are not refunded, except under our Refund Policy or mandatory law.
2. How to request deletion
Email privacy@notesforinnovation.com from the email address of your Aptiora account, with the subject "Delete my account". To protect you, we only act on requests from that address, and we may ask you to confirm the request.
3. What we delete
Within 30 days of a confirmed request, we delete:
- your account and profile;
- your career data: facts, CVs and uploaded documents (including the files themselves), documents created in Aptiora, Radar missions, saved opportunities, applications, outcomes and notes;
- your recruiter visibility settings, organisation programme memberships and consents;
- your communication history and email preferences;
- AI request logs linked to you.
Cached AI answers are not deleted one by one; they expire automatically within 24 hours (at most 7 days).
Copies in our backups are overwritten as part of our hosting provider's regular backup cycle. Until then they are kept secure and are not used.
4. What we keep
- Billing records (invoices and payment events) for as long as tax and accounting law requires (for the period that law requires). Paddle keeps its own records as Merchant of Record.
- The record of your deletion request and of your acceptance of our Terms, as long as needed to show we complied with the law or to defend legal claims.
- Information we must keep because of a legal obligation or an ongoing dispute, only for as long as necessary.
Data that never identified you, such as aggregate statistics, is not affected.
5. Organisations
If you joined through an organisation programme, deletion ends your participation. The organisation keeps only the information it is allowed to keep under its own agreement with you.
6. Questions
Contact privacy@notesforinnovation.com. If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you can complain to a data protection authority, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
