Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Notes For Innovation LLC, a limited liability company registered in Georgia (identification number 404760594, registered address: Tbilisi 0108, Georgia), which operates Aptiora ("Aptiora", "we", "us"). They apply when you use aptiora.app and related Aptiora services (the "Service"). By creating an account you accept these Terms and confirm that you have read our Privacy Policy. Our Refund Policy and Account Deletion policy form part of these Terms.

1. What Aptiora is

Aptiora helps you discover work opportunities, organise your professional evidence, understand how an opportunity relates to your experience and prepare application material. Aptiora is a decision-support tool:

  • we are not an employer, a recruitment agency or a party to any job application;
  • we do not guarantee interviews, offers, employment or any particular outcome;
  • we never apply to a job or contact an employer on your behalf without your explicit action.

2. Who can use Aptiora

You must be at least 16 years old, or older where the law of your country requires a higher age, to create an account. You must be an adult (or have your legal guardian's permission) to buy a paid plan. You must give accurate account information and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at support@notesforinnovation.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Opportunities and third-party information

Job opportunities on Aptiora come from public postings by employers and job boards. We organise them and check that listings are current, but we do not control them. Details may be incomplete, outdated or wrong, and a role may close without notice. Always confirm the details on the employer's original posting before you apply. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; their own terms and privacy policies apply there.

4. AI features and recommendations

Some features use automated analysis and AI models to rank opportunities, explain a possible fit or draft text. These outputs are suggestions: they can be incomplete or wrong, and they are not professional, legal, financial or career advice. You decide what to do with them. Before you send any document to an employer, check that every statement in it is true. Do not use Aptiora to create false or misleading claims about your qualifications or experience.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload or create in Aptiora: CVs, documents, career facts and notes ("Your Content"). You give us a non-exclusive licence to store, process and display Your Content only to provide the Service to you and to the people you choose to share it with (for example a programme you join, or recruiters if you change your visibility). This licence ends when Your Content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law. You confirm that you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anyone other than yourself, unless you are an authorised organisation user;
  • upload content that is unlawful or misleading, or that contains other people's personal data without permission;
  • scrape, copy or redistribute the opportunity directory or other parts of the Service by automated means, or use it to build a competing database;
  • try to bypass usage limits, plan restrictions, credit metering or security controls, or interfere with the Service;
  • access the Service through bots, unless we have agreed to it in writing;
  • reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, after notice where reasonable.

7. Plans, prices and payment

  • Plans. Aptiora offers a Free plan and paid plans (currently Pro and Super). Each plan's features, monthly credits and price are shown on the Pricing page when you buy. Organisation plans are agreed separately.
  • Paddle is our reseller. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase, and Paddle shows the final price, including any applicable taxes, before you pay.
  • Renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing link in your account or through Paddle. When cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, your account moves to the Free plan; your career data is kept.
  • Price changes. We will tell you about price changes at least 30 days before they apply to your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Paddle may retry it. If payment is not recovered, the paid plan ends.

8. Credits

  • Some advanced analyses use Aptiora Credits. The current cost of each action is shown in the Service before you use it.
  • Included credits. Paid plans include a monthly allowance, refreshed at the start of each calendar month (UTC). Unused included credits do not carry over. The Free plan includes a one-time starter allowance.
  • Purchased credit packs are added to a separate balance. They are used after your included credits, stay available while your account exists (also if you change plan) and do not expire, unless your account is closed.
  • Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and are lost when your account is deleted.

9. Refunds and right of withdrawal

Refunds are described in our Refund Policy, including a 14-day refund window for first-time paid subscriptions. Mandatory consumer rights in your country, including any statutory right of withdrawal, remain unaffected. Refunds are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

10. Organisations and recruiters

If an organisation sponsors your access, your sponsored plan lasts as long as the organisation's programme provides it. The organisation sees only what section 6 of the Privacy Policy describes and what you consent to. Recruiters can see you only if you change your recruiter visibility. Organisation and recruiter accounts have additional terms that we agree with them directly.

11. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, texts, rankings and the compilation of the opportunity directory, belongs to Notes For Innovation LLC or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. Documents that Aptiora generates for you from Your Content are yours to use.

12. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep Aptiora available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a material paid feature during your billing period, we will offer a proportionate remedy. Features marked "beta" or "coming soon" are provided as they are and may change.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, fraud, death or personal injury, or your mandatory rights as a consumer. Subject to that:

  • we are not liable for decisions made by employers, for the content of third-party job postings, or for career outcomes;
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost earnings or lost opportunities;
  • our total liability for all claims arising in connection with the Service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Aptiora at any time and ask us to delete your account as described in our Account Deletion policy. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and let you export your data. Sections 5 (until deletion), 11, 13 and 15 survive termination.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Otherwise, the courts of Tbilisi, Georgia have jurisdiction.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will tell you about material changes by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can close your account before then. Continuing to use Aptiora after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
